SIT Student Association (SSA)

The SIT Student Association was established in January 2005 to develop mutual understanding, good relationship, and harmony among students of the Soutsaka Institute of Technology, and between them and the Institute. The objectives of SSA are as below:

• To foster good relationship and harmony among its members, as well as the other members of the community, and better understanding of their various backgrounds and cultures, through activities and the dissemination of the information.
• To be a unit of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Youth Union at the SIT and participate in the activities organized by the ministerial unit of the union at the Ministry of Education.
• To promote the well being of its members by developing adequate social, cultural and sporting activities, including various clubs, which conform to the main interests of its members.
• To ensure that the views and opinions of the members are effectively communicated to the College ’s administration and faculty on matters affecting the members’ work and life at SIT.
• Through its officers, to act as the official representative body of the students of SIT.
